a better data occlusion radius cannot be bought its a combination of server side and your packet flow.
the ‘missing people’ is raw data waiting to be processed and odds are its held up in transition and not actually at either end

The i7-3740QM coupled with a half decent GPU or lower settings, should be able to deliver around 15-20 FPS in those heavy door zerg situations, which i think is “playable”.

Full blown desktop PC’s have a hard time with WvWvW thanks to the GW2 game engine and its efficency. No laptop will be able to match that.
That said, atleats that laptop has a pritty good cpu. So it ‘should’ hold up better than average.
I will say this though .. Alienware = Overpriced. I beleve your spec is somwhere around £1850 ..Your better of looking at other companies to be honest.

They look promising ..though you’ll have to put up with the website being in another language.
otherwise looks at Asus,Acer, MSI and the like.
Unless things have changed recently Alienware have a bad reputation of overpricing their products simply becouse they look good.
