CPU-Intel quad core 6600 2.4 ghz

Game runs great most of the time. I cap around 60 fps.
As soon as I get into wvw it drops to 15 and as soon as I get around other players it drops to around 5 or 6 then I crash.
I have upgraded the gpu on this system, but it has XP for an OS and only 2G of RAM which is the minimum for the game. When I check memory usage during the game it is at about 99%
I know that generally speaking, FPS isn’t a RAM issue, but could it be my main problem considering I only have 2G? Seems to me my gpu and cpu are fine.
Please tell me what I should do because I want to play wvw and this is getting frustrating. Thanks

The Ram upgrade could help you in loading times or solve the crash your system might be running out of memory in WvW and I think for your system its normal to have low fps in WvW (probably known issue with large group fights.)

from my experience every part of the computer affects performance ..i would upgrade the ram..in todays gaming world 2G isnt enough

Although 2GB isn’t really enough for WvWvW or any PVP matches I will say that it is known by ArenaNet that there is an optimization error causing a lot of mid range to high end rigs to get lower FPS. They are in progress of working things out but it can be a while before we see a final optimization patch.
