Will this laptop spec run GW2?
Not a chance.
Here are the requirements: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Running_the_game
Basically need a better processor and a dedicated graphics card. The onboard shares memory with your system; so it doesn’t have a dedicated 1.7GB.
Xystus Furtim – Human Theif
Server: Stormbluff Ilse
And to top it off, those parts are hard to replace in a laptop if possible at all. And if possible, very expensive.
Thought not. Pity. Ah well, thanks. I know just how hard laptops are to upgrade >_> time to pass on the bad news.
As the others have stated..not a chance.
It may possibly, if ur lucky, ‘run’ the game. But will it be playable …no.
Realisticly (as in, not what the game dev’s say, but what the players say)
Laptops minimum sugested specs.
CPU:3630QM / 4700MQ or higher
GPU: 660m /760m or higher
Even with those specs you will be unable to properly play the entire game (WvW). As the FPS will tank due to the CPU.
Recommended laptop Specs
Intel Desktop i7 3820 (yes u can find laptops with it in)
Nvida 780m
With that spec u could then do WvW and large dynamic events, as the CPU is stronger and should keep FPS in the playable regions (20+).
FYI.
Both specs cost alot for a laptop, and u could get simular performance much cheaper by building a desktop rig.

Don’t listen to them and try to, I have gt320m and i5 430m in 5 year old laptop and it runs smooth 21-56 fps in pve 15-30 in wvw zergs.
With respect vesperia.
A 4 thread 2.5ghz i5 CPU is a far cry from a 2 thread 1.6ghz CPU.
It sounds like it may be a Intel Pentium T2330. Though just saying that it is a dual core 1.6ghz does leave it open for other possiblities.
And as low end as a 320m GPU is, its likely a hell of alot betetr than any onboard integrated GPU from the same period the CPU is from.
