With the new release of “locked” character names, I quickly logged on and got the original name I wanted for my main, and have it place-held by a level 1 toon.

However, my main is 80, well geared, and is exactly what I want for a main, except this coveted name. Will there be any chance to change your character’s name? I’d like to be able to delete the level 1 toon and rename my main.

Theyve said that name changes will be available by the gem store. But no ETA on it.

I think they said they might bring this opportunity in in the future. For now, you’ll just have to wait and see.

There is a plan to offer character names changes. It won’t be in right away, but in the future you will be able to purchase a name change in the Gem Store. Of all the name-change options, I believe this will be the first one that is developed.
