Unfortunately my computer has a really bad virus that probably won’t be removed without wiping it. I was just wondering what the best way is to get gw2 back onto it. Should I just reinstall? (I don’t know if I can find the serial) or put the game on a USB.

You should just reinstall. That way you can be certain you have a fully clean pc.
And you won’t need your serial to redownload the game, just make sure you remember your account name (email address) and password for when you log back into the game and the forum.

If you haven’t already wiped it, you can just copy the gw2.dat file to a USB stick, and then wipe the comp, unless the virus you have is something is likely to infect external sources when plugged in,
Also have you tried to remove it?
