same, downloaded patch then log in/play stuck at LA loading screen for 10 mins now.

closed game tried again same still stuck at LA loading screen. Tried a different toon still stuck

One toon is the Grove, loads fine. My toon in Straits of Devastation is stuck on the map loading screen (you know you screwed because the map objectives don’t appear on the loading screen).

Yup, stuck in Malchor’s leap (which is the toon I was on at the time the 3 minute patch was announced). I can log into an alt, which I don’t really play. Not fun.

Hmm, one of my character’s got passed the loading screen, then when I was in the options menu, GW2 froze. I’m on Windows 8. It was working fine before the latest big patch…
