How? I cannot use it? :C I have Snow Leopard and it stopped working ages ago! Waah ;C
I have always run it either under Lion on another startup drive that I use, or I would run it under Bootcamp as it has NEVER run under Snow Leopard.
Last week I was looking at the Lion drive via Snow Leopard and just thought maybe just maybe it may have been fixed and it now works. I dragged GW2 over to my Snow Leopard drive and it ran straight away under Snow Leopard no problems at all. Next time I tried it was back to NOT working again, how, why this worked that once I have no idea because everytime I have tried since, nothing.
Anyone who has Snow leopard and is unable to play. Obviously you have Lion installed so I wouldn’t worry about it. Although I would strongly suggest you upgrade to either Mountain Lion or Mavericks because Lion is just about the worst version of OSX ever…
well, I have played since the first day of open beta on 10.6.8 and never had much issue besides an underpowered machine.
Snow Leopard was really a great OS, as was 10.3. It seems as though every 3 updates they really hit their stride with features and reliability. Mavericks is pretty nice so far. They updated openGL and openCL as well as switching over to SMB2 to match Windows. I can finally see the PC on my network and it can see my Mac! These updates may help while playing GW2 and other such games.
