Basically I have 100% complete for every map including WvW. However, the game is saying I am missing one POI. I have looked over my maps with my wife and we have both seen each map at 100%. I know the common location of issue is the Chantry of Secrets, and have visited the location several times. I am a new player having only played for one month. I do have “The Dead End” and did not play before the Lions Arch Update.

Basically, what could I be missing? I have submitted a ticket to ANet and have yet to receive a response.

This missing single POI is almost always the Order of Whisper’s HQ. Go to the Deadend Waypoint in Bloodtide Coast, and go through the portal and you’ll get to the Chantry of Secrets.

Other new POIs, such as where the Aetherblade Jumping Puzzle is in Gendarran Fields could be the one you’re looking for!

Go back to each map and make sure you got the reward. Sometimes people get 100% and it says 100%, but if you didn’t get the chest, it didn’t actually update. If you zone into each map, it will refresh your overall. Some people have used this trick to try to fix it.

Done. Every map still showing 100%

Then wait for a response from the CS Team. Or consult the Wiki for tips on map completion. And make sure to go all the way in, and beyond, in the Chantry of Secrets.

When I started playing again a week or so ago I had the same thing, even though I have two characters with 100% complete.

They’ve added some stuff. I found them using the New Player Experience (NPE) pointer. You can turn it into an exploration pointer by turning off events and storyline. Then visit each zone and see if the pointer is pointing at anything. Even if they’re showing 100%, the NPE pointer will find the missing things.

Except those missing things are not counted for 100% Map Exploration. Anything new added never does.

You must give the CS Team at least 72 – 96 hours to respond to your request. And, they are likely to suggest you try all the tips found in the Wiki, first.

If you have had no response after 72 hours, you can post your ticket number in the pertinent Sticky above.

Additional update, I do have Ascalon Explorer, Krytan Explorer, Maguuma Explorer, Shiverpeak Explorer, and Orr Explorer. However, Been There Done that is 99/100.

Explorer Achievements have nothing to do with Map Completion. Any information you wish to impart to the Team would need to be updated in your ticket.

Have you gotten the newish PoI in Brisban Wildlands, near the entrance to Dry Top? I believe that one counts for map completion, and is fairly easy to miss.
