Guild Wars 2

Hello! So, I bought and played Guild Wars 2 upon release with some guild I found months prelaunch because noone of my friend was in the mood to buy GW2. My guild decided to move into American server Stormbluff Isle considering we had more players that lives in America. Anyhow, after few weeks I left GW2 behind until recently few of my real life friends told me GW2 is now free to play and that now they would like to try it out and play together, problem is I can’t play with them with my account because I’m stuck on American server and can’t even guest on their server and I don’t really have money at the moment to afford transferring to EU with gems and I would really like to get back into game with my friends. So I came to a solution that I can actually make new free to play account and start all over again with them,but then again,I would like to keep perks that I got from purchasing the game like more slots,open chat+free level gifts that I got as a birthday presents.:D

So I need some support that could help me out by transferring me from America to Europe,and I don’t even care on what server I am getting transferred as long as I could be a guest on my friends’ server and vice versa so we can play together.

Sorry for kinda making short story long here but I just had to share my sorrow of not being able to finally play GW2 with real life friends. :/

Support won’t give you a free transfer.

You can transfer for free if you delete all characters, but other than that there isn’t really anything that you can do other than buying a transfer with gems (which can be bought by in-game gold if real money is an issue)

Well I could agree even to delete my 67lvl necromancer if thats a way to get on Europe for free, will I keep my account currencies,account bank and achievements if I do so?

If you delete character and put all want to keep in bank yes. You keep those thing also all thing in wallet and achievement. Only thing can not keep is item that is sould bound. Well can keep but can not use sell or salvage sould bound item because it belong to delete character.

Sounds fair to me,I would like to see and wait for an official ArenaNet answer,would it work like that, I’m a bit scared of deleting all characters just to realize something is wrong after server transfer and support refuse to help:D

To put it all together: In case support team can’t transfer me to Europe for free, in case I delete all my current characters,will I be able to transfer to Europe and also to keep gold+achievements+wallet+account bound items for my fresh characters on Europe?

Assuming the account bound items are in your bank, yes.

And support won’t transfer you to Europe for free, so you might as well just delete your characters after putting everything you wish to keep in your bank that’s account bound. Don’t forget to grab your bags. Don’t forget to salvage any soul bound gear that you can in order to get the mats and runes that you can.

You gold is in wallet so if transfer it will go with. Just remember if server you want is full you can not transfer. Also can only transfer after 7 day of last transfer.

Yeah that’s not a problem,I’m planning to transfer just this single time from America to Europe to be able to play with friends,cheers!

Remember, if you wish to play in WvW with your friends, you will need to be on the same server.

If their server is full, you won’t be able to join your friends in WvW, unfortunately, but you will be able to play the other modes of the game.

Shame,people told me that 3y characters are worth a lot and that I will regret if I delete my 3 3y old characters just to transfer so I guess I’ll have to get to grinding gold.
It’s so bad and stupid that You can’t create new character on other server(s) where your friends are,at least as a guest -.-’
