Guild Wars 2

Just came back to GW2 after not playing for many months. It sent me an email to valid the logging location. When I follow the url, it gives me an IP that has nothing to do with my account and a different city then mine (But that city is like 2 hours car away from my city.)
Should I be worried or is it an error on ArenaNet side?

I have the same problem because my ISP keeps changing my external IP address range.
I just verify my external IP address at that time is what Anet sent me

you can check your external ip at a website and see if it matches:
http://portforward.com/
under the menu at the top on the right should be your current external IP: if that matches what the email says it is then you should auth it.
