Guild Wars 2

The following players got a perma ban tonight while we were wvwing in a guild event. They were reported for exploiting when we haven’t exploited anything we’ve just fought off a large group of people who did wall hop into our keep without breaking anything.

These players:
CarelessKrow.8032
tendertouch.6280
Phoenix Arising.9807

They had wrongfully terminated accounts and due to the auto ban system will be out of action for at least a week and it will hurt us.

Termartal.8149 as well.

I suspect this has something to do with markets and not WvW. As a heavy trader who has made about 400g trading goods on the wintersday market I just got myself a perma-ban. Kind of sad that even though I have never exploited they still decided to kill my account because of my trading volume and profitability.

Not sure what happened. Got kicked out while walking a golem in WvW.

These guys are great players. They would never purposefully exploit. Please reconsider because we need them as meat shields in wvw

On behalf of all that is awesome(yes, every bit of me is awesome) I seriously encourage anet to take a deeper look into the termination of their accounts. I lead along side two of them very frequently in WvW and have never once seen them do anything shady. Pheo/krow are cooperative and i’m sure they’ll assist anet any way possible to restore their accounts. So please, do the right thing anet, lets get this investigation started and figure out what went on here.

My friend CobaltWolf.1840 got banned for borrowing gold from me to finish “Frostfang” and sold it to the current buy order of 1800. He gave back the gold and sent some to people to help them with their legendary weapon progress.

can I ask what class are ur friends? we trying to figure out why he got banned. Looks like autoban system, maybe since it was at WvW some enemies just reported him and maybe that trigger the autoban.

just heard some good guild mates of mine were banned, wouldn’t be a big deal if I had seen them doing something wrong by the least bit, but no, right in the middle of wvw, while we are getting exploited by the other “un-named” server, they are banned with no excuse why, and I know these peeps to be legitimate players, now back to these illegitimate players exploiting into our keeps that aren’t getting banned…. that’s what I’m dealing with, now with out my good allies. Bad form, ban-system please take a look at whatever logs you use and provide some evidence to get my allies back in the game so we can keep defending against the exploiters that aren’t taken care of. They’re probably in our keep now cause I’m having to type this.

he is commander too.. LOL… sounds like mass report from enemies trigger the ban

My brother overcerebrate.7469 was banned today in WvW because some kind of exploit. But I was waching he’s screen and he doesn’t do any exploit. And I read in this post that many other players have the same problem

overcerebrate.7469 got wrongfully banned when we was at WvW ( he is our commander). No sense because he is not xploiting nathing and he is not the only one who got banned tonight.

I just came to bump this, this is just not right.We was at WvW when our commander (overcerebrate.7469 ) got banned just because some people love to abuse the report system >.>

Hmmmmm Salvage-ing Ecto isn’t that RNG? O.o.. Don’t see any problem even post was here on forum and they have remove that “exploit” 3 days after this post O.o

They removed posts after the fact tons of people did it but the issue’s not with anything but their auto banning system my guildies did nothing wrong didn’t abuse anything and simply WvW’ed All of these people lead WvW at least 10 hrs a day. Can’t really see them risking their accounts if they are that dedicated.

I don’t know but is useless than Anet Bann players who craft a jewel that the recipe say 1 item is needed is his error and they must warning for that not a suddenly bann for something that happend 3 weeks ago. Now I’m afraid that my accout is banned in the future because Anet mistake in the drop of a new place or in the recipe of something.

If you don’t want people doing it, then test your content thoroughly before releasing it Anet. If something like this is found, cut it off right away. Don’t sit around and let it get out of control. Why do I have this unwanted feeling that I’m talking to Hammerpoint? Oh yes, I know why; because you’re pointing the blame at players saying they messed up rather than admit that you messed up.

I know that my brother doesn’t do anything wrong and he was playing in WvW went he was banned

So now you can get banned for other people cheating? That’s just great….. Doesn’t inspire much confidence in playing the game and feeling safe.
