I got the Zodiac Sword skin on the first day they were offered for BL tickets. It was bugged at that time and after the fix for the weapons rolled out mine was for some reason still not made tradeable as it should have.

I have submitted a few tickets over the months and receive no real information of any kind with the feed back emails from support. I am only looking to have it fixed or replaced with one that is working as intended. Thanks for your time.

The tradability change to BL Chest skins only affected those that a player acquired after the change. Nobody’s skins that had been acquired prior to the change were ever converted into tradable versions. Everyone else who acquired a Zodiac weapon skin when they were released, but prior to the fix that made them tradable, have always been stuck with it due to having gotten it before the bug was fixed.

ANet’s stance on that matter had upset many players then and still continues to upset many players now. We all know they can change the binding status of items at will (there are many, many examples of it being done even to this day), but their refusal to do so with previously acquired and unused Black Lion Weapon Skins and to only make newly acquired skins tradable was intentional. They intended for previously acquired and unused skins to remain bound to the account instead of also being made tradable. It was a conscious decision on their part to essentially screw players over who had acquired skins prior to the change and they’ve still not given a good reason (or any reason at all) for why this decision was made…just that it was the decision they made.

The only choices that have ever been available to players who possess a skin acquired prior to the change in tradability back then are to use the skin (which now unlocks it for your wardrobe) or delete it.

I know, it really sucks for a lot of people that acquired skins prior to the change…but that is the situation they’ve made and the only options they’ve provided; i.e – have a skin acquired prior to the change, you’re stuck with it and can only consume it or delete it. :\
