sometimes after a good hour of playing i get a small bit of pain in my metacarpals usually associated by double clicking. i’ve had this from years of computer use and gw2 is not at all to blame.

however, is it possible and create and use a macro for the purpose of double clicking and double clicking only to buy stuff in bulk such as icy runestones or obsidian shards? it is only 1 action per keystroke(in this case, 3 key strokes to initiate a double click to avoid accidental usage)

a window to type in a quantity for purchase would be nice, but clicking that many times to buy mats or to drink 3 full stacks of drops of karma from dungeons is very painful and can take quite a bit of time since i break every 25 double clicks or so.

You’ll need to be careful around anything that could be called a macro in GW2. Anet don’t allow them. You’ll need to check directly with them to see if what you want is allowable then find something that will make it work.

that’s why i’m asking. from what i know, 1 key, 1 action is allowable similar to their auto attack? so if i bind say, 8 to a mouse click, i can press and hold 8 instead of clicking?
