Did you read the above posted thread linked? You can find that very email posted there by the Devs stating it is a phishing email. Do not click any links from mails claiming to be from ArenaNet. They have no need to gather your Account information; they have it all on file.

You can make the reply address say anything you want because it’s a simple text field that can be changed just as easily as you would enter a “to” address. If you want to look at where the email legitimately came from, you have to look at the source headers to determine what server it was sent from.

“Abnnormal login” .. i mean .. really ? That alone crys that it is a fake

Also if ANet wants to ban you they simply do it and and don’t say : Oh .. you have
done bad things .. but no problem .. if you just login here its all forgotten.

I get this exact email all the time. Trust me – it’s fake.

Change the picture and hide your email address!
