i have a program i cannot get rid of. my computer is severly comprimised and i cannot fix it. there is a protected partition with important system files that its beyond me how to even get into it. ive use diskpart and know it fairly well as well as the disk part codes given to certain partitions. gparted nothing. i dont have a programming background so unless you know of a partitioning thing that will format even system protected partitions then dont worry about it there.

to the point. im just wondering if anyone else has this running or is it one of the hackers little programs?

I noticed it on my computer the other night and ended the process. It was only around while GW2 was running — I was fishing out background processes that I didn’t need in order to improve my performance, and as I didn’t recognize awesomeium.dll I killed it.

If it’s a virus then we’re both infected. If it’s part of GW2, then oops.

It’s most likely for the Black Lion and other in-client web devices. 100% safe.

lol okay thanks kerithlan i wansnt sure. but why wouldnt it be on a anet site or guild wars?

It’s built into the client, so it’s probably in the terms of service or eula or something that you most likely shrugged at before clicking “I Accept” like most people do, myself included.

Only drawback is, terminating makes TP interface stop working.
