For the last 8 or so months, I have been unable to access the trading post from my laptop.

I recently did some research on other posts etc, and discovered that my computer does not run awesomium_process.exe … I have tried going to the folder and running the process as administrator but it pops up and then disappears in processes.

I then decided to troubleshoot the program, which told me that it was ‘incompatible’

Any ideas how to fix this?

this process is like a browser .

if you are using a proxy or any entry inside the settings of the proxy then the trading post fails to read the data from the game server. it opens but it shows nothing,

open the internet explorer > tools > internet options > connections > lan settings

and check if there is a proxy enabled . if it is enabled uncheck the box and rstart the game

if this is not your problem try to run the client with xp sp3 compatibility mode

Thanks for reply

I have tried that, no proxy is enabled…
The TP just constantly loads, rather than showing nothing. The problem is that the process won’t actually run on my computer, even fully updated.

I am using Windows 7, do you mean you can change the settings on the client to act as though it were xp sp3?
I also tried updating to internet explorer 10 but that did not work either, and have repaired the game.

Can you try this?

1. Open your trading post (leave this open until finished)
2. Open your options panel
3. Change the language to French
4. Wait for the trading post to reload in French
5. Change the language back to English (anglais)
6. Test trading post

You may need to delete the gw2 cache folder.

Verify that any antivirus/firewall/security software isn’t blocking it, you may need to create permissions or exceptions.

Try running msconfig, disable all startup programs, restart comp, test gw2. A program could be conflicting. You can re-enable by repeating and restarting.

Try these steps one at a time and test, go down the list if 1 doesn’t work. Post back and let me know how you go.
