just tried to log back on and discovered i was banned for 3 days for posting racial slurs. LOL. the only “slurs” i used was when i was copy pasting lyrics in chat b4 fighting a dragon. not mad at this or anyhting. i was just curious about the nature of bans in gw2.

was i banned because people reported me for saying the n word, or was i banned because anet auto detected the bad words and auto banned me?

You have to be reported and then a ANet employee checks the reports and decides whether or not to ban. If it was automatic, it could ban you for saying something like reputation, because the filter sees a bad word in it.

Must say your excuse is pretty pathetic. Don’t say the n word and you would be fine. Doesn’t matter if its a quote, saying it will get you suspended.
