the whole game gets overall better FPS with league of legends runing in the background..but I first noticed in the character select screen where my FPS are capped at 50, now, everytime i run league of legends(menus) in the background FPS goes 62-63..this is just in char select screen

at claw of jormag it doesnt go below 45 FPS anymore…and in PVP ..well i still don’t feel like pvping with anything lower than 60

just in case anyoen wonders… i play this on a laptop..fresh install,updated drivers all settings low and off cept the sampling

Are you running any of the power saving profiles other then max performance? Theres already a known link between GW2 and bad reactions from dynamic CPU clocking/performance with the AMDs.

Since laptop power profiles are a lot more touchy with clocking and usage monitoring, increasing the load is forcing it to say fully clocked all the time and getting around that weird behavior.

You’re having a problem with the windows timer resolution then. Try this fix:
