Guild Wars 2

Ok so every other program on my brand new recently built gaming PC works beautifully, no lag, no DC no issues in anything else except for this game [so far].

It will just randomly go to a black screen and I will have to close the client … or it will just randomly black screen and close… This happens roughly every 5-20minutes and is becoming very frustrating when in the middle of storyline quests etc. :l

Any help appreciated!! I’ve tried the Nvidia thing mentioned on the main tech page, I’ve lowered the games graphics, I’ve made sure my graphics drivers are completely up to date

I have no idea what the issue might be… because as I said it doesn’t happen in any other game!

Going to sound stupid, but they will ask you this,

Are all your GFX drivers up to date, if its a brand new system, you may have used the CD drivers that came with the GFX card which could be several months out of date.

not that it is going to help you but i had the same problem with my new build gaming rig

what i did was i resetted my complete router back to default setting and i disabled upnp on router and also on my computer

i also disabled SSDP Discovery(same place as upnp on computer)

and i disabled my routers firewall that can cause problems too

this did fix it for me i have been playing for 7 days atm without any backscreens anymore
