Guild Wars 2

Hi there,

Just got back on my mac to play gw2 and the camera randomly points to the sky.
Just to be clear, I’m not talking about the crazy rotating camera bug that is well known, I know how to deal with that one

Do any of you guys have the same bug, and can provide a solution or fix for this?
I mean, playing EOTM and the camera points to sky and you fall to your death is just silly :p

Using an iMac 2,5 4gb
Using logitech mouse M-U0007

It is almost certainly something to do with your mouse. Try uninstalling the drivers and just using the built in generic mouse drivers.

try alt – tab first, always fixed the problem for me. some people need to uninstall drivers though

It happens to me but in a different way.. the camera suddenly turns to the opposite way while I play. It is annoying , like sometimes I walk straight then suddenly I see myself going back

uhm, stupid question but is it maybe a 180° turn? because there is a key for that, maybe you mapped it unintentionally to a key you use, check the keyboard control options in game.

Lol! maybe it was it ? I reinstalled the game and the issue disappeared xD

You can easily find out by assigning/mapping this function to a key (somewhere you normally don’t press keys) and then see if it’s the same effect.

If yes you can rest assured, otherwise write again if the issue comes up again.

So yes, you probably changed it by accident, its called “about face” there (I think that’s it)

The issue seems still there, so I am in the club.
The camera pointed up to the sky, and yes, I fall to my death and it was silly. But you know I didn’t explained it to my party members. xDD
