Whenever I try to log in a notification pops up saying that a copy is already running and won’t let me log in the exact thing the notification says is, ‘guild wars 2 is unable to start because another copy is already running on this computer, or because the application has insufficient rights to successfully detect whether another copy is already running on this computer.’

I don’t know what to do!!!!

What OS are you using?

I’ve had this problem too. I use XP still, and will until it’s phased out in 2014.

Sometimes, the GW2 login client doesn’t completely start, but your Task Manager -says- it did. You’ll have to start your task manager (if you’re using a Microsoft Operating System) and find the GW2.exe client in that list of executable programs, then you’ll have to force it to stop by selecting it and clicking (End program). Then you should be able to start your GW2 client.
