how to solve this error?

Error Code: 42:1000:7006:881

1: wait about 1-2 hours
2:check social media (this forum, gw2 fb-page and gw2 twitter page)
3: if persistent and only adressing a small amount of people, please contact support. It might also be a problem with your ISP (internet provider) where they lost the routing to the arenanet server(s). This is out of the hand of arenanet ( the people behind gw2) and can’t be resolved by them. This can happen even when other parts of your internet connection is working properly (see it as if you have 7 kids at the same school, all at a different age, 2 of them return late from school, but 5 are on schedule, would you suspect school to have an issue or something on the road between school and home??)

seems like gw2 server crashed. many people are experiencing the same issue

they just updated the leaderboards. I couldnt log into the forum either, but now I can log into both just fine.

I have the very same issue In canada, been like this for the past 8+ hours now. Unable to login at all!

I want to play this game !!! Been waiting for a long time now for this.. huh !

Ever since i bought the game and started playing it ,.. everytime i go to the login screen and click on login it gives me the above error !!
Getting tired of this !!

I have found the problem.

Error 42:1000:7006:881 relates to the fact that the client is unable to establish a connection with the NCSoft login servers.

The software “PeerBlock” integrated P2P list blocks those IP. It’s possible that your firewall may block those IP as well.

Make sure that whatever firewall you have allows connecting to the following IP ranges and the problem will be resolved.
