Guild Wars 2

Hello,

I have stopped playing gw2 for some months. The launcher updated the game to version 20418, but I can’t login “an error occurred” and the error code is 42:1000:7006:888. I deleted the “local.dat” file, I also have tried with a different auth server “-authsrv 206.127.159.107”, but nothing works. Anyone in the same situation ? Is that because there is a new patch being dled by many people ? Any solution ? Thanks.

Try disabling any antivirus or firewall software, including on your modem/router (sometimes, it’s enabled by default).
