Guild Wars 2

Hi, i needed to re-install the gw2 client, and i cant get it to update fully, it stops at 99% with 1 file remaining, i have tried the following:

1) Change languages (tried all)
2) Deleting the .dat file (tried a few times)
3) Putting -repair in the properties of the shortcut and renaming the shortcut to Guild Wars 2 repair
4) leaving the game overnight to see maybe it will update

It’s been over 2 days of struggling and i have no idea what to do, i’v been playing since release and never had this problem.

What else can i do? ;_;

Similar problem only mine stops at 24 mb and at 2 files remaining

1. Close the Gw2.exe.
2. Install and run spotflux.
3. Executing Gw2.exe complete the remaining downloads.
4. Quit spotflux running.
5. Rerun the Gw2.exe to login. And games.

I have the same problem, but by doing this i solve this problem.

Spotflux doesn’t work can’t connect to their servers

Turn off your firewall and anti-virus programs until it’s done updating, one of them may be preventing the file from being downloaded (false positive).

Same problem. I had to run gw2setup.exe as administrator several times to download the last 1%. HTH someone.
