13% :o Furthest I ever got in downloading the patch!~ -crossing fingers-

found a temporary fix, once you get through to the download and it keeps stopping, just keep hitting log in, then hit the cog and hit log out, rinse and repeat every 5 seconds, every time you re log in it resets and starts going up in speed instead of down

its clearly their server just cant handle all those people at once, they should just cap it to X % and then atleast have a message to say ‘you are queued for download’ it would be far less stressful and atleast once you got there you could dl at your normal speed without it keep stopping

Just be patient and leave the launcher running. Constantly closing/opening it will likely cause more issues, since its probably queing people as its overloaded.

i think it’s a bit more stable now i’m at 24% now and haven’t had any errors! WOHOO

Yeah, those connection errors during the update are evil today. At the best gaming time here in Europe, on top of that. Not good.

No Problem Babylon! I left mine sit for about 5 minutes or more and it let me login “finally” lmao. Now just waiting on that darned update to go thru >.<

it can happen WHEN you downloading the patch, it ill restart at some point tho…

It’s happened a bunch of times so far. As long as none of the files are corrupted due to all the stopping and starting, I’ll be perfectly happy to wait a bit.

just let it sit more times you resset the cclient longer it will take to fix. anet being clogged think about it millions fo epople all trying todothe same thing. just let it sit it will fix itself when it needs to

yea i finally got my patch going thou now it’s almost halfway done! 46% and going up fast! maybe it’s stabilized a bit?

If you got kicked out of the game to apply the patch, try restarting from scratch, I still get some connection errors but at least it retries properly

Stay on Retrying… Do not close .exe .. will be OK in 3-5 minutes

stable now, 12mbps just left it alone to do its thing and it did what it said ‘retrying’

Exactly, stay on retrying and wait.

It’s basically putting you in queue to download the patch, restarting the client will probably just reset your queue position, making you wait longer. I’ve downloaded the patch at 2MB/sec after having that message for around 5 minutes

and dl finished, around 4 minutes lol, by the time i got back here and made post it was done

Personally, I’m going to try d/ling tomorrow. Given up on today. Always the same on patch days – and not just GW2!
