Here’s my question , last week my computer die I’ve spend a lot of money in it and i can do anything with this computer now so I looked on forums and videos and i found a cheap configuration of a gaming computer:

-AMD Athlon X4 750K Processor
-XFX Radeon HD 7770 GHz
-4GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 RAM

Do you think it will support well GW2 on medium or high settings?

Why don’t you give us a budget to work with first, because I would personally try to push for an Intel rig especially if GW2 has your interest.

When asking about a replacement Rig, its always best to simple put out a budget and let people go at it. The results will give u plenty of choices and the discussions about each choice will highlight possible flaws with said choices and possible gains.

If nothing else, you may want to see if you can push your ram up to 6 or 8 gigs, I wouldn’t imagine it would affect your price that much, assuming you’re going to be running a 64 bit version of windows.

Sounds like the OP isn’t a builder but a buyer.

The Athlon X4 750K is an A8/A10-5xxx CPU with a bum GPU so it’s disabled so it allows a much higher turbo boost. General performance wise it’s similar to the A8-5600K or an i3-3225.

The HD 7770 is a passable GPU for a budget system but the 4GB of memory does sound like someone is looking to get rid of their surplus 2GB sticks.

Open world it should have more than passable FPS on high. Problem with cities, boss events and WvW still revolve around raw CPU power and not GPU as much. Those will still not be great regardless of graphic settings beyond the usual suspects (culling, shadows, reflections).

i dont have a big budget but it can turn around 500$ I know this is a low budget but im sure i can got something pretty good just to play gw2.

Any parts u can re-use from ur old rig ? $500 isnt much to work with.

Do you have a copy of Windows already? If not, that would eat a rather hefty sum of $$($) up.

i dont include the cost of the Windows because i already have Windows 7

OK so what hardware specificaly do u have that u can re-use ?

$500 isnt much but if only 1 or 2 parts of ur dead rig are broken then replacing them with a budget of $500 shouldnt be a problem.

Bassicaly if u can list the specs of ur old/dead rig and note which part is broken (if u know) then we should be able to sort somthing out.
