Guild Wars 2

I updated this game to the latest patch last night, but when i tried to run it today i get the error above, my connection is totally fine, so i dont see what the issue is here, thought it would be best to make an post here. Been trying to update it for 1 hour. But the odd thing is that i did the update last night unless there is a new update today.

Try right clicking the Guild wars 2 icon on desktop and run as administrator.

I have the same issue although i didn’t update it completely last night because the update stopped on me, I’ve even rolled back my computer hoping it might work and nothing. I’ve tried run as admin but again doesnt work, i even went to the extreame of starting in safe mode ~ Fail. The launcher actually gets stuck open too and i can’t close it i have to use task manager to do so. like the guy above i really dont want to re install the whole game.

I am also having this issue. I had to manually delete all the files to try to re-instal (as when i try to un-install from the control panel it says that there is a ‘Serious Error’). I have tried multiple times to re-download and even had a computer pro guy log onto my pc remotely to try to fix it- after 30 min there is no resolution from our attempts at this time.
