Hi, I wanted to know one thing , since I bought gw2 to my friend and she accidentally registered the game with an email where you can not get even with forgotten password and all recovery options , I tried to send 2 letters support by being close to her because she was not able and I told him to wait for a response but two weeks have passed and still nothing, so I was wondering , since December that we can not play together, and the link to the ’ activation your account has remained in that email, as we have to do because you do not answer ? you can at least give me some advice on what to do to help her? We have already sent 2 emails to the " issue- account management account – change email, and 1 on email authentication but no response , I tried to contact me my email but they told me that only my friend can request this information , then cases like this where the link for activation in an email when you can not get what we should do ?

Hi,

If I understand you correctly the following is your issue.
You bought GW2 for your friend. Your friend made an account, but used a wrong/not functional emailadress. You (tried) to contact support but so far with limited success.

Am I correct here??

Assuming I am.
It is your friend that needs to contact support and not you. Your role is only to support your friend in this. It is important cause it is an issue bout having access to an account, and your friend is the owner of the account.

There are two ways to contact support. The first is by clicking the ‘submit a ticket’ button on top of the support page (you can find a link to it at the top of this page). This is the most prefered way cause she will be represented with the right questions allready. There is no need to log in whatsover.

The second way is by sending an email to support@guildwars2.com

In both situations she will recieve a ticketnumber. that is the confirmation that the ticket has been made and is taken care off.

If you didn’t get a reply within 72 hours (3 days) after recieving your ticketnumber, then something went wrong. In that case you can put her ticket up for review by posting that ticketnumber in the sticky topic in this forum (tickets for review).
