Guild Wars 2

Hi I have got the following errors 42:1000:7006:891 starting from April and it stopped me from logging into the sever. I am pretty sure it is not my firewall and router setting (As I have been starting play Guildwar 2 since it launch but there are no such issues before).

I have attached my Guild war 2 test result as below. Does anyone have any experience or helpful advice for this problem? Thanks in advance.

I´m getting the same problem. As Eowyn nothing has changed on my modem/router/pc. I´ve had a few login problems the last few weeks, but all different errors. Today is the first time this one came up. Thx for the support.

update: now im getting the Error Code: 58:11:5:512. Still no possibilty to login

okay, i was having the same issue more or less as you guys i think. Launcher will not connect/login My error code was 42:1000:xxxx:xxx can’t remember exactly. anyways, i found my problem.

I use a program called PeerBlock, as a coincidence i had it turned off the first few days i was playing. My computer restarted for an update and when it did PeerBlock launched on startup and started blocking NC INTERACTIVE, INC and every different little connection it tried to make… don’t know why i didn’t think of it sooner. Anyways, i clicked login waited about 15 seconds.. disabled peerblock, instantly connected.

My advice to all of you guys, if you use a probram like PeerBlock, either disable it or make sure it makes an exception for gw2

Starting today, September 19th, I have been receiving error code 42:1000:7006:891. My firewall has never been an initial before as Guild Wars 2 is a permitted program. I have attempted to shut the firewall just in case. Still received the error code.
