Clearly my internet connection is working, just wondering when this will stop? has been going on for the past few hours and it was Dc’ing me about every 5-10 mins. now its as soon as i log in.

Game sometimes is playable for long periods of time but has become unplayable now, happens every 2-5 minutes. Opened up ports 80, 6112, 6600, and 443 on router, still happens. On a wireless g modem not too far away from it, both router and adapter are linksys.

Absolutely no antivirus running in background.

Ran malwarebytes full scan found nothing.

Computer is very top end with an i7, highest radeon, 16gb RAM, and ssd hard drive.

I have been working on computers for years can’t figure this one out, will check elsewhere and run a network diag as suggested in another post.

If your on a constantly full server, switch to another one. If your in it for the PvP, you’ll just have to tough it out until they work out a better load balancing solution.

Each server has finite amount of processing power and bandwidth behind it, so if you linger in zones with very high activity and running at full capacity, your gonna see problems.

I wait two hours in queue for WvW, get in, and DC 15 minutes later. This is getting really stupid.

This is an internet connection issue and so has nothing to do with computer specs.

Are there any commonalities between you guys? country, isp?

Country and server: USA and playing on a US high pop server (Jade Quarry)

Provider: Charter 15mbs (always good to go in other games, always stable, except with GW2)

Wired (runs through a router with wireless capability that serves the household, but even turning that off doesn’t help, nor does resetting my router, or doing the ipconfig /release and /renew bit, or anything else I have tried.)

The thing is, sometimes I can play awhile with no disconnects, sometimes it’s constant. There is no trigger I know of that starts up my problems except maybe their server load, and of course I can’t be sure of that, not having access to their numbers.

Have you power cycled your router once these disconnects start happening frequently?
