Well, apparently the lag issues and disconnects are a routing problem.
It appears that I am getting routed through Frankfurt (I’m in the SF bay area).
This isn’t the first time Level3 has mucked up the game.

Yes. I am having this issue again. Lag and skill delays before I am disconnected from PvE or WvW. The game is becoming unplayable at this point because of the constant disconnections.
Internet Provider: Optimum Online
Location: New York City, USA.
Ye, same here. Constant disconects every 5-10 min, code 7:11:3:191:101. My internet working is absolutly fine – TS3 is working at the background while i keep getting disconects. Itryed everything possible i know to fix it.( port forwarding, force client to port 80, ect) but nothing helps

There’s this annoying lag since 2 weeks ago and it’s still persisting.

I got the same problem and also, like unrivalled, did everything I can to make it work.
The game is simply losing it pleasure to play.

Just a suggestion, but have any of you tried using Google for DNS (rather than your default ISP DNS)?
Saying your internet is “working fine” is like saying you can drive onto an interstate highway, so there is no reason you shouldn’t be able to drive to any location in the world because you can drive to some locations without a problem…..
Fate is just the weight of circumstances
That’s the way that lady luck dances
Mmmm nah… using google DNS doesnt change anything to me – got DCed 5 min later, same error code.

If you really want to get help with with figuring out the cause of intermittent lag, skill delays and random disconnects, here is what you need to do. The moment you notice that the problem beginning, run PathPing to the server you are logged in to. The trick is to run PathPing when the problem is happening not when everything is running smoothly. PathPing gives much more (and better) information about your internet route than ping and tracert.
That route information can help ArenaNet (and other players) help you to figure out where your issue is coming from. But the data it is only useful if you run PathPing while you are having the symptoms.

Unless, of course, one of your ISP’s servers don’t want to respond to the ping making you unable to get past one of the early hops.
Here’s my "helpful" path ping:
Tracing route to 206-127-146-93.ncsoft.com [206.127.146.93]
over a maximum of 30 hops:
0 Tom-PC [192.168.0.7]
1 Tom-PC [0.0.0.0]
2 basl-core-2a-ae10-627.network.virginmedia.net [81.96.2.69]
3 brnt-bb-1a-ae10-0.network.virginmedia.net [81.96.0.145]
4 * * *
Computing statistics for 75 seconds...
Fortunately, tracert doesn’t have this problem, and if you run it enough times you find the causes of the lag. In my case, I’m getting frequent small spikes which make PvP unplayable for me, especially since I’m running an S/D thief and these spikes combined with the trajectory-varying flanking strike and queue-cast pretty much make me dead or as good as if they occur during combat.

Impact, you are suffering from some substantial intermittent network latency. With just the horribly small sample set of RTT data that tracert provides, 30% of your data packets are taking 10 time longer to make the trip to the server than it should. It is probably not really that bad but without more packets and the entire tracert output, that is what I am seeing. I would need the full tracert to try and see if these long RTT values were specific to just these three nodes or are evidence of some routing issues along your internet pathing.

Those hops are out of context. I was mainly showing that tracert can show some meaningful information when pathping fails. I actually ran three tracerts, the first one had that ~500ms spike on the 8th hop, the second one had no spikes, and the third had those spikes on the 10th and 11th hops. I don’t have the full output from those tracerts anymore, but I can say there were 12 hops total, and the other hops took 25-40ms. It’s noticeable enough in game that I can say it occurs at least once every 10 seconds, sometimes as many as three in 10 seconds.

luizfeitoza, you are suffering from serious packet loss. Your network path is dropping from 7 to 10 percent of your data packets at each node. This is a network issue. What I can suggest is you collect several of these pathpings (when you are having the problem) over the course of several days and pass them on to your ISP tech support. They can then investigate and (maybe) contact the ISPs that are causing the packet drops and see if they can resolve the issue. You might also try a VPN that might get you a different path to the game servers that will miss at least some of the nodes dropping your data packets.
Still same problem, seems to be mostly in the evenings at the moment.
