Guild Wars 2

Hi, I have played guild wars on a new lab top and it was working fine then out of the blue it stop working on my computer. I was told this was because of a windows update compatibility issue and after removing the update I saw it work but i think the update reinstalled itself and haven’t been back on since, could I get some help with displaying this game other games work. I have an asus republic of gamers windows 7 comp. with a nvidia 3d graphics card directx11 g53s series.
