Guild Wars 2

Since 2-3 days, I will instantly disconnect after about 30 seconds into the game. My ping reaches from the normal 40 up to 4.000 in that time. I resetted my router, my IP, reinstalled the game, but nothing works. While connected to GW2, it seems that my whole internet breaks down. While patching the game, I had my usual 700kb/s download speed. While I’m logged into the game, my brower get’s a lot slower, the quality of skype calls sinks drastically, and I can’t even connect to teamspeak. What the hell is wrong right now? It feels like GW2 is killing my internet. I’m located in germany and the problem happens with all my characters. I don’t think it’s an “old map” problem, because the maps are pretty populated.

It sounds like your network port is unable to handle all the bandwidth needed when you play GW2. That could be a cable issue, your actually port on your motherboard, or it could be that your ISP is throttling you.
