so i have this a4tech mouse that supports macros:

will coding and using some macros ingame constitute a violation of the tos and any other agreements related ?

can i safely play using this mouse and/or keyboards that support macros ?

as far as anet is concerned yes, as far as people who are to cheap to buy them, yes they are cheating, because they let you do more then 1 thing per button press.

the recoil/no shake(trajectory adjustment) I would call a hack, many pay hacks do the same things that brags about, tho they also inject into the game, where that seems to just sit over the game in memory or something…..

but yeah, the answer to you question is, yes anet consider macros of any kind cheating, because not everybody has hardware or software to macro(even tho macro software is cheap or free with a simple google search and has been since the Ultima Online days)

they have said this a number of times, try a google search, also, even if you use macro’s they have no way to tell, currently the game has no client side anti hack or anti bot or anti macro features….

no problem, its silly but it is what it is, glad I was able to explain and I have a naga2012, as well as 2 other mice you can program macros on, and my keyboard has 5 programable buttons…..i do not bother programming them for this game because, im lazy…..and I play alot less gw2 then I expected to…the game just runs so poorly that…it bothers me….so i play tera and ps2 and other games and check in with gw2 weekly to see if they have fixed it……
