On mac the game is just no longer launching.

I am having the same issue.

As ridiculous as it sounds, the launcher is trying to connect (in the background – looked using Little Snitch), so as long as the GW2 app is open/has the dot below it on the dock, give it 20 minutes+ and it’ll work.

Servers are screwed up at the moment, but it will work

Had the same issue here. Well, launcher window didn’t appear even though it was running according to processing applications. It happened first time, after update. I restarted Mac triple times, plus additional force quits. After that I left it open, checking few times in Mission Control if it appeared. After some time it did, so I recommend try it, maybe it will work.

Same problem. Tried to delete Guild wars folder, change DNS to google and back to ISP, but no progress. Usually such actions solved “after patch” problems.

I guess I’m going to hold off on deleting the folders for this. Disappointing, considering I just paid for the game.

It’s up and running now – downloading is going just fine.

I’m having the same issue but whenever I tried to open the GW2 app, the computer tells me “it’s not responding”. I tried deleting it then uploading it again but to no avail. I don’t know what the issue is at all.
