Was thinking about coming back after quite a few months off, but you guys forced a password change on me. When I try to enter it in it says my password is unavailable. Some bullcrap about it being on a list of passwords that have been used or whatnot. So I try something else completely random and it keeps giving me the 8 character error, saying it isn’t long enough (even though it is).

What gives here guys? Why would you force a change like this? I can’t even log in now. Did I just waste $60?

They forced password changes because people were using passwords they had used on other sites and were being hacked.

There was one blog talking about it and how they could see hackers trying to break into accounts, attempting to get into them by using old passwords those people had used on other sites. So what they did us ban all the current passwords and force everyone to make new ones.

With the security measures they have, one of which was the password change, very few people are getting hacked.

I did ask them and they said they reset it, but I can’t make a new one without it erroring. Either it says unavailable or it outright fails, telling me to follow the link again.

I’m getting really frustrated with this. I never asked them to take the liberty of adjusting my personal account information to begin with.

Hmmm sounds like a bug of some type. If it was me I would contact support by updating the original ticket. Have them send me another link to the change password. Hopefully that will fix the problem.

I’ve had to change my password before and had the link they sent me not work. The second one did.
