Hello guys and gals,
Is it normal to have ping as high as 4651? and fps as 28?
I was doing fractal earlier with some guildies, and suddenly i got massive lag spike where everything is frozen in place. Once that’s over, everything i see is already happened 2-3min earlier. it was so bad that i couldn’t finished the fractal and have to leave.

Ping listed on the options screen includes server delay and possibly client delay as well. Frame rate is for the most part asynchronous.

so i can’t do anything to fix the problem?

You didn’t answer the implied question, is the ping you are reporting the one on the options screen? If it is that’s the average ping or a every so often ping? Are you using satellite internet?

yes, the ping i saw was from the option screen, and no it’s not an average ping. It’s only happened for the past 4 days that i know of, not before then, i thought it was my computer being weird as first, but i’m still able to play other games just not guild wars 2. i’m not using satellite internet, and this happened randomly throughout the day regardless of hour. Once this happened, it took me about an hour before i can play, and i can play for about 4hrs before the lag happened again.
