It takes some time. Usually up to 3 days for a non-automated answer. If you wait longer than 3 days, you can post your ticket number in the special “tickets older than 3 days” sticky thread on this page.

I think you’ll hear much sooner than three days, but do let us know if you have continuing questions. But first, have him check “junk” and “spam” filters, and they often block mails, even important ones like ours.

thankyou I wll do that Just hope he didn’t delete by accident
it would seem that anet/ncsoft have some issues with purchasing point being different from playing point. in short, if your friend is in a different country/region from your registered cc location, it might raise some warning flag for fraudulent practices and might cause further complications in the future.
i hope your friend receives his copy of this great game and don’t have to deal with the frustrating and nightmarish complications of you being generous.
I guess another question that comes to mind is, it’s been said here to post my ticket number in the 3 days or older thread. But if they never reply to me with a ticket number, where do i get this number. Shouldn’t they have at least sent me a reply email saying they got my email and here is your reference number or something?
ok just to update, I now have a number for reference, but not from NCSoft. I used the support on this site, and got an email within seconds with a comment that the question was received and that I will be hearing back shortly with a nice reference number in case I get lost in the nether So hopefully my nephew will be joining us soon in the family guild we have made fingers crossed
Awesome! that was fast I guess it pays to go through proper channels. problem was resolved in less then 30 mins. Thank you Anet happy camper here
