recieved an ssd for christmas
Hi Vladothir.9362,
You do not need a code, you have registered and username and password with that code linked to it. once the game is downloaded you’ll be able to just login like normal.
you can also save yourself a ~15GB download by copying your GW2.dat file to an external drive/ memory stick then copy it back over to your new windows install.
infact you can copy the entire guild wars 2 game folder over.
good luck and enjoy the ssd.

You shouldn’t have to re-verify on the re-install of the game. You should be able to move the GW2.exe over to the desired directory of the new home for the game.
That is copy GW2.exe…
From:
HDD:\Program Files\GW2\GW2.exe
To:
SSD:\Program Files\GW2\GW2.exe
Launch that sucker once its on the SSD and redownload the game. Or you can just copy the entire game over from your HDD to your SSD. I did this when I got an SSD just for gaming.
So copy…
HDD:\Program Files\GW2\
to:
SSD:\Program Files\GW2\
You might have to make a new shortcut for your desktop and everything, but it will work in the end. Copying the files is much faster (unless you have a ridiculous internet connection of the 100Mbit sort)
