I have an ssd and a good internet connection but when im in party i see, expecially at LA i m one of the last to load the map, there is any suggestion for increase the maps loading?

Some maps load slower than others (like when there’s an event, or in LA), but it’s definitely slower to load than it was pre-HOT release. I sometimes miss the end of an event because I sit for 2 minutes waiting for the page to load. Any suggestions?

The higher your settings and the more objects there are in the surrounding area, the longer you’re going to take to load. When loading into an area with a lot of players, reducing the character model limit and quality will help a lot.

For me, on high settings with medium model limit/quality, loading into LA near the mystic forge takes around 17 seconds. For comparison, on lowest it takes around 8 seconds. You can use the -maploadinfo option to see what it’s doing.

Is your SSD running in AHCI mode or still in IDE mode ? That also make quite some
difference.
