after this patch for some reason i am stuck in loading screen of Wayfarer Foothills.

nvm loaded after 5 minutes.

I’m stuck on loading screen as well for metrica province thingy/area

Same here. Other characters load fine but the character I was playing when the patch took effect is not loading. (in metrica)

ha. back as well. looks like it was just a matter of time.

same here i can not load my game eather i have tried 2 different toons . i hate when patches do this crap , test the patch before you launch it

and for added insult, my video related issues (loosing video signal / black-screen /etc) is once again happening
man i was issue free since last couple of updates – and the same crap is back
such a good game, ruined by poor code development

my Guardian stuck at Metrica province loading screen, and and the game crash when after like 4-5mins of loading screen, code : 7:0:0:788:101.

Queensdale loading screen. Teleport another character – stuck too, but in current location in main menu still Rata Sum.

Same thing is happening for me right now. Stuck at Queensdale loading screen on two of my characters. Waiting does no good, after a while (~5 min) I get an error message:

“The game client lost its connection to the server. Please wait a few minutes before restarting the client and trying again. (Code=7:0:0:788:101)”

I can without problems log in to any yther characters that are not in Queensdale . (They where located in Lions Arch and Black Citadel)

Same here, I get stuck on the loading screen for the character that is in Queensdale, and the other characters works fine.

I have tried doing a repair (creating a shortcut, changing target to GW2" -repair.), but it didnt help.

The same problem. Stuck on Metrica Province loading screen forever. 2 characters of mine are stuck in there so I am literally unable to play. Another unripe patch!!!

Can’t load my two characters in Queensdale (ends with connection error after several minutes), although I did manage to start in Blazeridge Steppes.

my warrior is stuck in metrica province load screen but my other chars load instant

tryed deleting the .dat file in my documents to no avail

Stuck in loading screen Metrica Provence. Changed chars to test – loaded into LA no problem – went to Rata Sum with this char and couldn’t access Metrica from there either.

Accept stuff happens but terribly frustrating when on time limits – probably latest patch as others have said, was fine before.

I’m stuck on the loading screen for Metrica Province as well. The zone completion does not appear at the bottom either.

I can load into other zones with my other characters, but moving them into Metrica Province causes the same issue, with the exception that I can see my zone completion.

I’m guessing this is a server side issue…?

Same here, Queensdale.

Same here, stuck on Loading screen, Metrica Province on Desolation.
Timeout after about 10 minutes, but same again if try to log that char which is trying to teleport there.
Other chars load ok.

I guested a random server and I was able to login to the character I had the issue. So it works if you don’t care about being at your home server.

But it doesn’t work when you stop guesting and go back to your home server.

I am having the same problem in metrica province, just after the last patch.

Alright, here’s how I solved this issue.

1. Guest random server.
2. Login
3. Join WvW then enter portal to Lion’s Arch (changing zone might aswell works fine).
4. Logout.
5. Login to your home server.

^ this works perfect, but after going to wvw, go to heart of the mist.
and should be ok.

Same here. Can log in into the metrica province. After some time i get code=7:0:0:788:101. This started after update..

To ArenaNet developers: In the mystical land of programming there was created magical things like integration and unit tests. Those magical things help to catch most of bugs before update release. It is lowest level of programming then you publish updates before testing..

I was just stuck loading into SAB. I shut the client down after 3mins, didnt look like it was going anywhere. No error message (maybe because I didn’t wait tho)

I am not getting any error code, but I am routinely getting stuck in long loading screens. I just had to exit out of the game after a 5 minute+ loading screen into Lion’s Arch and have had to resort to this action around 5-10+ times in the last few days when zoning to and from multiple zones.

In general my load times have gotten worse and worse since the first beta. I used to load in at launch in under 20 seconds, now it is routinely over a minute.

I’m stuck loading the cursed shore since the last patch only on one of my characters and the support page appears to be broken.

Everytime I tried to get into an instance or anything else I’m stuck on the loading screen.

I’m stuck on Plains of Ashword , can any1 help?

Same issue with loading, same error 784 (not the older 788).
Guesting doesnt seem to solve it wither.
