ran hdd test came back good
plz just wana play the game any help

other than that I can log into the game ..select a toon ..press play … then the game just hangs at the load splash screen …only ctrl alt del will exit

have tried everything seems there are quite a few posts from people with the same issue but no fix ???

Can you attach the whole log? or even your dxdiag txt file?

Uninstalling and installing fixed it for me. I had previously tried deleting the local.dat file, and attempting the -repair fix but I had no luck with either.

Ummm… I take that back. I -was- able to finally login to my character, but after about … oh 30 seconds of moving around it crashed again.

Trying on my laptop now, seems theres no problems there.

Any chance that UAC is turn on for you guys? can you run the gw2.exe as admin? Can you also check your hard disk as well?
