Guild Wars 2

every time i try and install GW2, it gives me a error message of “unable to verify the guild wars 2 executable. please try again. if the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall the application, or contact customer support”.

i dont have the game installed, i just bought it a couple days ago, and i have not been able to play it due to this mess. please help!

Rename Gw2Setup.exe to Gw2.exe, place it wherever you’d like to install the game, then right click it and run it as an administrator.

If you were already at that point, you can try looking for a Gw2.tmp file in the same folder as Gw2.exe. If it’s ~30 MB, rename it to Gw2.exe and try it. Exclude GW2 in your security software to prevent it from interfering and don’t install GW2 under Program Files unless you always want to run it as an admin.
