Hi im a new player, I was playing gw2 on my DDR3 64 bit galaxy geforce gt 440, i upgrade to galaxy geforce gt 640 and the game isn’t running good even on best peformance. I took all the steps in the tech support sticky on changing my gpu/gw2 graphic settings and still no help. Every other game i play runs way better now on my new gpu but gw2,which is barely playable now.
i have a amd athlon ii x2 250 @ 3.0ghz, 8gb ram ad now the geforce gt 640

The 640 isnt a gaming card. Your CPU is slow.
Check CPU and GPU usuage when u have said bad performance.

You wont get good performance.

why was i getting better performance before then? before i upgraded from gt 440 to gt 640.

have you updated your drivers? or try doing a clean installation?

GW2 can be very picky. try differnet grpahics drivers but make sure u fully clean all traces of old drivers each time. Check ur NCP settings and make sure its all on performance or application controlled, check ur windows performance settings.
