Why is this so complicated.

I just want to use my glider but have no idea how to go about opening the thing up so i can actually glide

i paid for the standard edition of HoT, then I just went and paid another $35 bucks to upgrade to the deluxe edition, got two special delivery emails,

but where is the glider? how do i use it?

this seems unnecessarily complicated

you are able to glide only in the new HoT areas

You need to train Gliding Mastery in the Heart of Maguuma zones. To unlock Masteries, you must complete the first HoT Story step(s). Once trained to Level 1 (in Gliding), you will be able to use the gliding feature. You can place your bonus Glider skin upon the standard skin for a new look.

The above two posters are right but on a more basic level, you just double click on the glider skin when it is in your inventory and it will go into your wardrobe.

To use it, and after you have got to Level 1 (as IC said) you just step off a high ledge in the HoT area. The glider should open but you can press your space bar to open it, and space again to close it. You won’t be able to go far at first but you will get better as you train more in gliding.

ok, the good news is I got this figured out, a bit. I am now gliding.

Now, to figure out this map…

Im also starting to really discover that this map, the jungle, is not friendly to solo play. Which is ok,
but I will need to work on finding a rather active guild.
