You have a Intel GMA HD3000, it’s right on very very low. Game will run about 15-20 FPS and it will be unplayable in WvW.

Depends on your eyesight. It’s more likely that you will find it quite annoying. Further you will need to bring down all visuals to the minimum. I had to do it when I was trying to play on a laptop with a GF9500 and the game was barely playable in the sylvary starting area.

1GB on GPU doesn’t relate to performance entirely… Anet needs to fix what? Are you expecting to run 30FPS+ on $500 machine? hell no.

It really depends on the video adapter, though the higher load is on the CPU. For example – my desktop has Phenom II 965 and a GTX570. During the beta when initially the GPU was almost ignored and the CPU cores were not utilized very well, the game ran smoothly at best when details were maxed. During the second beta I was able to play on maxed setting, run Fraps and compress video at the same time thanks to the CPU cores the game did not use, but the FPS suffered a little. Now I imagine you will be able to play quite well with most setups that do not involve a mobile CPU and GPU. Though I was able to play the game on a Acer 5755G on average details with no major hiccups.
Wanting to play this game with only an integrated Intel GPU is stretching it at any rate. Going so low as an i3 processor is really not advisable.
To save yourself frustration, at the very least, you should get an i5, which includes an HD-4000 GPU, which is still pretty sucky, but at the lowest settings, you might at least get a playable frame rate.
An i3 would be fine if you had an additional, dedicated GPU in the system, like the Acer M3 with its GT 640M LE… That laptop is pretty cheap. If you get anything less, you’ll just regret it.

He made a negative comment about you giving the wrong info, as the amount of RAM on your video card doesn’t say anything about its performance.
I can’t say anything about crappy fps, as I’m getting 80 fps walking around Hoelbrak on maxed settings, and the game is quite beautiful and smooth with Nvidia’s 3D Vision 2 stereoscopic display tech….
Sure, some other games give me well over 100 fps, but when I compare viewing distances and rendering quality, this game renders perfectly well – at least for me, and I’m not using any crazy dual GPU setup, just a single GTX 670.
well honestly this laptop is for the girlfriend and just wants to play on low settings so i think it should be okay, my system runs the game fine and i’m yet to experience lag. I don’t know much about graphics cards and she doesn’t want to pay for a baller system so would this system i provided allow her to play through smoothly on low settings and maybe some 5v5?
