Guild Wars 2

So ive been playing the game for several days and throughout the entire time i have been having strange texture glitches which have made playing the game a large amount harder. I have tried to edit the graphics setting and even created a new shortcut to “-repair” the files, however that did not help.
I doubt this problem has anything to do with my computer as it is not even a year old yet. The computer i am using is an acer aspire 5750. 8GB ram, HD Intel Graphics 3000, ect….
This is making an extremely fun game hard to play, please help me with this issue.
I will upload some photos and hopefully someone will be able to help.

Using an integrated video card may be your issue as it doesn’t pack enough punch.

If you look here:

You’ll see your video chip scores a 413.

As a comparision, a GTX 480, for $200, scores 3538.

Bottom line, your video card is not good enough for this game.

It does, unfortunately, and is likely caused by old drivers.

Basically, update your chipset and graphic drivers.

Nearly all $300-$800 ‘pre-built’ computers regardless of when you bought it, come with an “on the motherboard” video card. These are almost never going to perform well for gaming unless its playing farmville on facebook. Laptop or desktop, this is usually an issue.

Speaking of which, my wife’s laptop is a $399 ‘cheapo’ but thanks to the i3, it can play GW on low everything and anything i can turn off, off. But, in a pinch, it works
