Games like Diablo III are runnig pretty good with med settings.

Im going to take a stab and say you are running the factory default video card drivers that shipped with your laptop, and have not upgraded them since.

that would be why you are seeing objects like that.

open the catalyst control center, goto Information then software and tell us what version is installed.
