It sounds like your PC is overheating, and shutting down as a protective measure. GW2 will stress your PC much more than the above games, so a heat issue will be much more pronounced. Ensure your case has proper ventilation. Check to be sure all your fans are working, including CPU and GPU fans. Clean any dust in the case.

Monitor your temps while playing. Also, watch your psu. Typically systems shut down like this due to overheating, but it could also be an insufficient or faulty psu or oter faulty hardware (motherboard, memory, etc).

Just watch your CPU and GPU temps and see how you go. You may want to clean them out a bit or add extra fans. Dust bunnies are tricky little culprits that sneak ino the tightest spaces. Gw2 is very system intensive and will tax out even the nicest systems if they aren’t properly maintained.

Full PC specs would help here.
Make sure to include specific about models.
I.E
PSU: Name-Brand- Series/model – Wattage.

As others have said, its likely ether Heat, or PSU overload.

I think Heat isn’t the issue here coz I got a good fan… yet I don’t think also it’s my PSU but yet what is the recommended PSU in GW?.. gonna try buying other battery buying that is suitable for playing GW.

A single ‘good fan’ isnt going to result in great temps, it will certainly help, but the main thing is a good heatsink, be it a direct air cooled heatsink, or a water cooled radiator. What CPU cooler do u have ? is it stock that came with the CPU, or is it aftermarket? if its aftermarket which one is it ?

PSU’s are not chossen bassed on software, they are chosen bassed on hardware and total powerdraw.

Check ur temps during GW2 gameplay using some monitoring software.
It would help also if you could measure you power draw at the same time, BUT it isnt required. Just tell us ur curent PSU as i stated in my last post, and the PC specs, then we should be able to work out whether ur PSU will be a suspect.

It could also be the same as numerous others are having, that it just does it for no discernable reason at all and nobody can figure out anything besides “lol u dumb, its heat or psu”.

This post may contain a high concentration of sarcasm and irony.
If you are allergic to these ingredients, do not consume.

Well for what it’s worth I also think that it’s an overheating issue… the games you talked about are are able to half strain on your pc that GW2 can. First of all provide us your system specs: Cpu, Gpu, Mobo, Psu and CPU cooler and your temps along with it so we might help you further. Temps must be in-game like lets say pc shuts down in 10mins? Check temps at like 7-9mins so that they would be around as high as shutting down point.

Any hardware or driver failure can shutdown the pc.
So if you are sure that it isn’t heat, or PSU, then check if all drivers use the last version.

Is your psu “power supply unit” able to cope with your graphics card? If the psu can’t manage the graphics card and any other USB connected devises it will auto shutdown

*Check the power requirements for graphics card then I found it easier to open the case to get the power supply on the psu if it just meets requirements then that might be your problem and if you got a few USB devices that will cause issues also

I got the same problem, mostly in WvW and Southsun events. I’ve noticed that my cpu usage shoots upwards of 90% then, which is probably causing the crash. I’ve been monitoring my cpu and gpu temperatures and they haven’t been above 60 degrees Celsius, which should be fine, so it isn’t overheating.
