My client Crashes after i hit PLAY from launcher.
- Already done this:

- Updated my ATI Radeon HD 7800 drivers
- Done the shortcut+ “-repair”
- Still SAME error
- Attached dxdiag and Error Log files on post:

just google gw2 maincli.cpp
i have tried every possible solution mention in any threads .
no dice .
redownloaded from a different pc and transferred the game via external drive ,
same error
all my drivers are up to date aswell.
My guess is there will be no propper answer from anets side cause they cant .
(besides the usual :-repair , update drivers , run memtest , check hdd )
You are pretty much stuck in the same boat as the rest of us in these threads .
Just if anyone is wondering what i did so far :
-looked if any driver is not up to date
- tryed a different gpu driver ( beta)
-ran memtest overnight
-checked hdd for errors
-reset bios settings
-redownloaded the game ( see above )
also i was in contact with the support and with no propper solution .
If your lucky , your ram is either broken or a tad oc´ed , resetting either bios or running memtest/removing stick by stick till u find the right (broken) one will fix your issue …

Im kinda angry about the lack of response from ANet, hope they can fix this kind of problems soon, meanwhile i will continue playing Eve Online.

the error code associated with the windows backup service .
do you have win 8 ? maybe there are issues with this service , because the same error has it someone else in this forum that has win 8
